An assortment of fetal pig organs at the end of the dissection. All of the organs were carefully placed back in the body prior to stitching closed our incision.

  3. That is what your insides look like as well. Pigs and humans have very similar anatomy. As a matter of fact pigs heart valves can be used to replace human heart valves (and other parts are transplanted as well).

  4. Can any recent roadkill that is in a good condition be used be used in disection?

  5. Unfortunately, due to the extreme heat at this current time we are unable to accept any donations of roadkill. While it would be interesting to study the rate of decomposition I am afraid my colleagues would not appreciate the odor.
